The Municipal Band typically performs ten to twelve concerts annually. These include a spring concert each April, a series of six summer concerts during June, July and August, and a holiday concert in December. In addition the Band plays a patriotic concert on the lawn at Monticello as part of the Naturalization Ceremonies held there each 4^th of July. Other performances both in Charlottesville and surrounding communities and for special events are not uncommon. The Band’s concerts are all free and open to the public.
